Donald Pirrie, often referred to as "Flipper" has been involved with Camp Tanager since 1995.  Originally from Scotland, Donald became aware of Camp Tanager through the CCUSA organization.  Using summer vacations from University, Donald travelled to Iowa to work at Camp Tanager.

As the father of two boys, Donald understands the importance of summer camp opportunities for children, and the amount of trust that it takes to allow others to look after your child for a week.  Donald has been the Camp Tanager director for 8 years and leads a dynamic team of Camp Professionals each summer.
