CAMP TANAGER TEAM
Our staff consists of a Camp Director that oversees several program directors with specific areas of expertise. Overnight and Day Camp Counselors work directly with the campers in small groups of 8-12 campers. Our food service and maintenance staff work tirelessly behind the scenes helping make sure camp operates safely and efficiently.
All Camp Tanager staff are given extensive pre-camp training, CPR and First Aid Certified, screened for TB and have to pass federal and state background checks prior to starting work at Camp Tanager. These checks are trainings are completed annually.

With over 23 years of camp experience, Donald strives to create a nurturing camp environment for ALL participants.

Creative & energetic, Finn makes the magic happen every day at camp through his program skills and camp leadership.

ANNA “BUBBLES“ TYSON
Anna’s attention to detail helps ensure that all medical regulations and first-aid needs are being met during each camp week.

ASHLEY “BREEZY“ LOVE
Ashley heads up a team of dynamic camp counselors providing education and insight to assist them in their job.
DAY CAMP DIRECTOR
Our Day Camp Director oversees all aspects of Day Camp including staff, program and campers
COUNSELORS
Day and Overnight Counselors work directly with the campers creating a fun and varied schedule.
COOKS
Food service staff prepare healthy and nutritious meals 4 times per day during the camp week.
MAINTENANCE
Maintenance staff keep the grounds kept and the facilities up and running all year round.
SPECIALITY
Our on-site Environmental Educator create exciting science based nature programs such as creek stompin’ and connecting with nature.
ADMINISTRATIVE
Working behind the scenes, our secretaries make sure paperwork is complete and that campers are enrolled in the correct session.
